SquareOne Early Learning Center is a nurturing, nature-based, Reggio-inspired community where relationships come first. Our commitment to a respectful, holistic environment guides everything we do, from inquiry-based exploration and hands-on projects to authentic play that encourages children to create, question, discover, and belong.

Our approach
Our goal is a community of confident, capable, lifelong learners.
We use an emergent curriculum. Teachers watch what children are curious about and build lessons around it, so children are participants in their learning rather than an audience for it. We keep ratios low so relationships can form, and we treat those relationships as the foundation for strong social and emotional skills.
We respect the voice and opinion of every child. The educator's job is to make exploration possible. The child's job is to investigate everything.

Nature-based learning
Children learn best when they can touch, move, investigate, and experience the world around them. Nature becomes a teacher as children explore living things, changing seasons, natural materials, and the wonder found outdoors.
Reggio-inspired curriculum
We view every child as capable, curious, and full of ideas. Our educators observe children’s interests and questions, then create meaningful projects and experiences that invite them to investigate, problem-solve, and express their thinking.
Conscious Discipline
Relationships and emotional safety come before rules and redirection. Through connection, encouragement, and consistent routines, children learn to recognize their emotions, regulate their bodies, solve problems, and care for others.
Outdoor classrooms
Our outdoor spaces are an extension of the classroom, not simply a place for recess. Children build, dig, create, climb, experiment, and take appropriate risks while developing confidence, coordination, creativity, and a lasting connection with nature.
Family partnerships
Families are an essential part of our School Family and each child’s learning. We build strong partnerships through open communication, shared goals, classroom documentation, and meaningful opportunities for families to participate and connect.

Our classrooms
A glimpse into each age group, from our youngest infants through preschool. Our classrooms are thoughtfully designed as multi-age communities, allowing children to learn alongside one another while growing at their own pace. When determining classroom placement, we consider each child’s age, development, readiness, individual needs, and relationships to ensure they are in the environment where they can feel secure, confident, and successful.

Do you enroll year round?
Yes, based on availability. We accept children until classroom ratios are met and then keep a waitlist.
Do you accept subsidies?
